The Sicilian company chosen among the most important Italian wineries, as the venue of the training courses of the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust. After the Level 2 course, in November Level 3 also arrives, on wine and spirits around the world, for professionals and enthusiasts.
The WSET, Wine&Spirit Education Trust, Level 2 course, dedicated to grape varieties, winegrowing regions and the major spirits of the world,concluded at Donnafugata last week. The Wine & Spirit Education Trust is an organization founded in London in 1969 by Masters of Wine such as Ian Harris and Jancis Robinson, for the training of enthusiasts and professionals on the world of wine and spirits. The WSET is an organization of an international character rooted in more than 60 countries.
The training activities of the WSET are characterized by courses with a limited number of participants, held by highly experienced teachers who lead the tasting of a very wide range of wines and spirits, of very high quality and from all sources. All the courses are held in English and include the WSET certificates issued upon passing the final exam.
One of the characteristics that makes the WSET’s training offer special is the choice of venues for the courses which are always prestigious production realities, where orientation towards quality is the norm: lo and behold Wine Academy Italia, for the 2015 courses, chose the wineries: Masi in Veneto, Lungarotti in Umbria and Donnafugata in Sicily.
The next appointment from 23 to 27 November at the historic cellars of Donnafugata in Marsala, with the WSET Level 3. The objective of this course is to provide a detailed and even more advanced analysis of the major wines and spirits of the world.
The focus will be on the in-depth study of the style and quality of products, as well as the development of a technical language, in English, for even more effective relationships with international clients and interlocutors.
